I have been passionate about meteorology for as long as I can remember! My primary interest within meteorology is tropical weather, though I still dabble in mid-latitude phenomena and forecasting. I attended Texas A&M University for my undergrad, graduating in May 2023. Since then, I have been a Master’s student at LSU studying coastal meteorology.
While at A&M, I was highly involved in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences. I served as an officer for the Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (TAMSCAMS), a lead forecaster for the Texas Aggie Storm Chasers (TASC), and a radio and TV broadcaster for TAMU Weather. I also attended a SEA-Met study abroad excursion to Barbados in May 2022 and was a participant of the TAMU Convective Storms Field Study in May 2023. I was also an intern at AOML during my time as an undergrad in summer 2022.
My time at LSU began in June 2023. I am working under Dr. Paul Miller in the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences in the Coastal Meteorology (CoMet) Lab. Click here to view Dr. Miller’s current research.
